Ferrari

The modernity of Ferrari is rooted in a timeless idea of beauty as balance and harmony, streamlined into elegant designs that express swiftness, freshness, energy and joy. Craftsmanship is the means to achieve such ever-evolving balance: a celebration of what the mind can conceive and the hand achieve. Exploring ideas of timeless beauty and couture sophistication, the collection gives a contemporary slant to couture shapes, marrying preciousness and performance, form and function, celebrating archetypal silhouettes but giving them shiny, futuristic twists. A cinematic aura, again, is projected. The accompanying images, shot by Hugo Comte and interpreted by Mariacarla Boscono and Fernando Cabral, are direct and energetic, with a sense of elegant classicism.
The collection tours along notions of grace and properness. The waist is nipped in the weighless shirt dresses worn with a white shirt underneath, and in the slender trench coats. Matching tops and trousers give a pragmatic spin to the concept of the suit, which turns into an elegant tracksuit. Tropes taken from the world of sports undergo a crafty couture treatment, in deep hues of grey, blue and brown. Precious materials such as silk, wool, coated cotton, silky nylons balance performance and beauty, the refined and the technical. High heeled pumps, lace ups and immaculate sneakers polish the looks off.
A sense of contemporary harmony comes through.
With the launch of this collection, Ferrari expands distribution beyond the direct network
to collaborate with a roster of national and international retailers that include Bloomingdales in Dubai, Harvey Nichols in Doha, Joyce in China and Hong Kong, Beymen in Turkey, Selfridges in UK and, for Italy, Nugnes 1920, Tessabit, Dell’Oglio Palermo and Gaudenzi. Partnerships with international e-tailers LuisaViaRoma and Farfetch keep also growing.
