Bally is a brand of footwear and accessories with an elegant taste, founded in Shonenwerd by Carl Franz Bally in 1851.
Carl is fascinated by the chic slippers of Paris and thus begins his handcrafted shoe production in the small village of Switzerland, which will conquer the world's costume for more than a century.
In a short time the craft workshop is transformed into a modern footwear industry, which produces comfortable and elegant shoes, becoming known also overseas. Bally marks the evolution of footwear design and physical well-being, completing most of the workmanship manually and using the Goodyear construction, which ensures maximum foot comfort.
At the beginning of the 1950s, in order to cope with the global crisis deriving from the world wars, Bally began diversifying its production, presenting dance footwear lines as for the mountains, alongside highly prestigious footwear, such as the exclusive Scribe model. for men. Since 1976 the company has conquered the pret-a-porter sector, bags and accessories in leather, taking advantage of the new era of consumerism, to reposition itself today in the luxury market, with collections of classic chic, casual-fashion and trendy sneakers.
