Moncler

Moncler is a brand founded in 1952 by René Ramillon in Monestier de Clermont, an Alpine town close to Grenoble to which it owes its name.

Moncler, expression of elegance and luxury in the category of duvets, is characterized by the logo of the cockerel.

Moncler, with its luxurious enchanting models, goes beyond the concept of the quilt, designed to assist athletes in extreme performances, without renouncing to the charm, ensuring maximum protection from low winter temperatures, from ski slopes to rainy city lanes.

For the design of its garments, the brand makes use of the assistance of world-famous climbers such as Lionel Terray. Since its debut, the company provides the equipment needed for large expeditions such as the Italian mission on the K2, and is a great success during the 1968 Olympics in Grenoble, as supplier of the official uniform of the French national team.

Moncler, became over the years the subject of fashion design, rediscovered even by famous designers. It is the absolute "must have" of the '80s, as well as the official uniform of the "paninari", one of the most popular fashion phenomena in Italy.

The brand reincarnates the very idea of a duvet in a chic key, eliminating the clumsy point effect on more refined tapered lines and with a fashionable fit. The collections are based on bright colors and rich in vitality that alternate with the black laqué between wool and tweed.

The parkas are made adherent with incisions and macrobottoni. The down jackets are in lacquered nylon but the models evoke the typical style of classic coats such as the Audrey Hepburn coats and the enchanting overcoats of the 50s.
